Animals aren’t always as gorgeous as they appear in nature photography contests. They can be just as wacky as you and me at times. And believe me, I will not say such a thing if I didn’t have evidence to back it up.
Then there’s Doggo Taxi. It’s an Instagram account that posts random animal pictures with no context. Cats, for example, assisting their owner to puke. Or walruses stealing a boat. Doggo Taxi has everything you can think of. The wonderful part is that these images are also strangely wholesome. Continue scrolling to see them for yourself.
Of course, it’s totally acceptable to take pictures of your pet having fun every now and then. A worse issue would be if all of your images were fuzzy and overexposed.
But, just as we pay photographers to record the most important moments in our lives, such as weddings and birthday anniversaries, we can also hire a professional to capture the beautiful side of our dogs. Or the attachment we have with our pets.
It took Phil Lord roughly 10 years to realize there was a demand for someone who could produce high-quality photos of pets. Phil Lord is a photographer based in Lancashire in the UK. “I love animals, and I believe I’ve discovered my passion and ideal profession in shooting them.”
As with any subject, working with animals has its own challenges. More than likely, in fact. Photographers can’t even have a word with them and explain exactly what they’re trying to achieve with their images.
Getting the pets’ trust and attention is the most difficult challenge in the entire procedure, according to Phil Lord.
There are a few pieces of advice the photographer may provide pet owners that would help them take their shots to the next level “Photograph your pet at eye level by utilizing natural light, crouching low, and using natural light. Most importantly, be patient!”
