An artist depicts how famous characters would appear in real life.

Cartoon characters are beyond realistic, and most of us can’t even think of what they’d look like in real life. That’s when artists step in to show us what iconic characters would look like if they were more human.

Hossein Diba goes beyond simply drawing these characters in 2D; he creates whole characters with 3D software, and the results speak for themselves. The 3D models are packed with minute details and meticulous work, flawlessly changing the cartoon characters we all know and adore.

Hossein comments on Artstation: “I’m a character designer. I model/sculpt/texture/shade characters for games, cinematics, 3D printing, and so on. Since 2008, I’ve been creating characters and creatures for various projects. I’ve worked as a full-time and freelance artist and am well-versed in human anatomy.”

Creating 3D models takes a lot of time, effort, and training, especially if you want to make something realistic. You must understand anatomy and how the human body works, as well as having a strong understanding of perspective, shadows, and a variety of other concepts. Professional 3D modelers frequently spend months constructing a model. They must not only construct the sculptures, but also optimize and prepare them for animation.
