This is about the cute kittens named Phoenix and Prada who have equally split their father’s fur color……
In an unusual incident that has stunned the vets in the UK, a beautiful blue-eyed cat born in Paris with a two-toned face has fathered two kittens one for each color on his face.
If you are someone who loves cats and follows all major cat news on social media, then you must have heard of Narnia.
In 2018, when Narnia made headlines, he conquered hearts with a very special feature. This blue-eyed feline’s face was perfectly split into a gray and a black side.
This is Narnia:
Owned by Stéphanie Jimenez, the cat with half-black fur and half grey perfectly split by a single line through the middle now has a complete black and a grey kitten, as per a report.
Interestingly, Narnia, suspected to have two types of DNA in a condition that would make it two-toned, recently proved that it’s not a chimera cat as the tests showed one DNA in its genes making it more special.
While Narnia’s partner Bella’s color was found to be a different one, both of Narnia the cat’s kids are half their dad, as they acquired different halves from their dad’s fur color, the owner revealed to the UK media outlets.
A geneticist performed tests and found Narnia has only one DNA, so there remains a mystery for science, the owner Stephanie was quoted saying. Speaking about the uniqueness of her black-and-grey-faced feline, she added, the cat also has beautiful blue eyes which is very rare in a cat that is all black. Normally blue eyes are often found in white cats.
Narnia’s owner Stephanie Jiminez, in a conversation said, “When Narnia was born I was extremely surprised. I knew immediately that he was exceptional.” Fast forward two years, Narnia has become a father of two beautiful kittens.
And the best part? Both his children have each taken their fur color from either side of Narnia’s face. The kittens named Phoenix and Prada have equally split their father’s fur color.”
Jiminez said that this is not the first time Narnia has become a parent, neither is it going to be the last time. Jiminez, who is a professional cat breeder, said that Narnia has been a father multiple times and his litter is of different color variations. Apart from Prada and Phoenix, Narnia is a father to two light brown twins, Orfée and Ozanna, pitch black Roswell, gray Rose, and two beautiful multicolored boys, Polaris and Phantom.
In an interview with Daily Mail, Jiminez said, “‘Narnia was born with a double black and grey face, which is very rare – normally a cat cannot be black and grey.” Nobody knows the exact cause for his two-toned face and even though he is sometimes confused with Chimera cats, he is not one.”
Here is a photo of the mother and father: It’s Narnia and Narnia’s wife two-faced Bella.
